This is the final push for passionate tennis players to sign-up for the 10th Anniversary Tennis Congress Event. Please join us Thurs — Sun Oct 10-9–22 at the amazing Hilton El Conquistador Resort for an intensive workshop with the best tennis coaches in the world! Here is the director, Gary Innes explaining what will take place and the mission and vision he has for Tennis Congress, Net Gains Foundation and a new program called 1000 Aces. It is not too late to sign up today at https://tenniscongress.org/The above video interview aired on September 16th on the Morning Blend show and is being shared here with the permission of KGUN Channel 9 of Tucson.

Tennis Congress was created by serious tennis players for serious players. Tennis Congress events give adults who are still passionate about tennis (low-intermediate through high-performance NTRP 5.0) access to world-class training that is usually reserved for top juniors and professionals. Join fellow tennis fanatics and some of the best coaches from around the world for a uniquely fun and inspiring experience that covers all aspects of training necessary to improve your game, on and off the court.

SIGN UP FOR ADVANCED INVITATIONS

When registering for the Tennis Congress event, it is crucial that you accurately report under your playing level to be matched up with the most appropriate coach and skills training. Registering under the wrong level will take time away from the session benefits and our ability to customize your schedule and become disruptive to you and your group’s schedule.

What to expect starting Thursday…You will be offered two customized pathways for intensive on-court training: one for Singles, another for Doubles. At sign up, you will choose the pathway you prefer — then we’ll put together a coaching team and customized schedule for you designed based on the feedback you provided when filling out your event profile.

12 Hours of Customized On-Court Assessment and Training Focused on your needs (4.0–4.5 Hours per Day): You will be placed in a group of athletes of the same playing level and work with two coaching groups (“AM” and “PM” groups), and your coaching team will work collaboratively to customize your on-court curriculum around the goals and priorities you identify in advance. This approach will preserve the traditional opportunity to work with multiple coaches, but add more continuity to your on-court experience than ever before. Your coaches will be able to refine your curriculum in real time and provide personalized feedback throughout the Congress based on needs and opportunities that arise. Note: if you attend with a spouse, doubles partner or friend at the same level, we can place you in the same coaching groups upon request.

Up to 10 Hours of Elective Specialized Off-Court Workshops and group break outs. (Appx 3 Hours per Day): Because success in tennis is about more than hitting a good ball, we will offer a wide variety of off-court class options each day with world-renowned experts on topics ranging from strategy, mental conditioning, fitness, nutrition, and equipment to supplement your core training plan.

Meals and Special Evening Programs: The sessions may be intense, but once the racquets go back in the bag it’s time to relax and socialize with your new tennis friends. The 2023 program includes three dinners, three breakfasts and three lunches over the course of the event (Th.
Program Fee: The total price for Alumni and any of your family members is $2,550 (non-alumni price of $2,750), $550 of which is a tax-deductible donation to the Net Gains Foundation (please note: this portion is non-refundable).

Discounted Resort Room: Registered participants are eligible for a special discounted $195/night room rate at the Hilton El Conquistador. Participants will be eligible to book their stay at the resort for this price for three days before and three days after the event. If your travel schedule allows for it I would encourage you to take advantage of this great offer. You will receive details on how to book your discounted room after you register.

While searching through my images file I came across these photos from the Addy Awards in 2012. A great evening, and recognition for hard, but enjoyable work while leading Dynamic Worldwide Media and my time on the Phoenix Advertising Federation board.
